Almost every sportsbook lists the English Championship. Far fewer price a Tuesday night fixture in it with anything past a result and a goals line. That difference is where secondary league coverage is actually decided, and it is invisible if you judge a platform by its menu.
This compares seven crypto sportsbooks on domestic secondary football: national second tiers and the smaller first divisions, and not the European competitions covered in our earlier comparison.
The Axis This Comparison Uses
Listing a league is trivial. Pricing it is not.
The test applied here is whether a platform extends full market depth into secondary competitions, meaning corners, cards, player props and alternate lines instead of the result, both teams to score and a goals total.
That is the difference between a bettor being able to follow a league properly and being able to place one bet on it.
These are the competitions worth testing a platform against:
-
English Championship and the divisions below it
-
2. Bundesliga, Serie B and Segunda División
-
Eerste Divisie, the Dutch second tier
-
Belgian Pro League, Austrian Bundesliga and Swiss Super League
-
Scottish Premiership, Greek Super League and Turkish Süper Lig
A platform covering most of that list with real depth is unusual. One covering the big five leagues and stopping is the norm.
Seven Platforms Compared
Ordered on how far the market board extends into secondary domestic football.
1. Dexsport
Dexsport carries football depth that reaches past the marquee competitions, which is the specific thing this comparison tests.
-
Depth on ordinary fixtures: more than 100 markets on major matches, with the secondary board extending into competitions outside the largest leagues.
-
Self-custody of settled bets: the platform is non-custodial, so winnings return to a wallet the player holds instead of an operator balance.
-
Settlement recorded publicly: bets post to an on-chain desk, so a resolved market leaves a record independent of the account screen.
-
Audited contracts: reviewed by CertiK and Pessimistic, an assurance separate from the gambling licence.
Three limits stated plainly: the licence is Anjouan, lighter than Curacao or Malta; there is no live streaming; and the restricted territories include the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
2. Cloudbet
Operating since 2013 under a Curacao entity that is named on the licence.
-
Low margins on the competitions it prices closely.
-
High limits suited to larger stakes.
-
Named operating company identified on the licence.
3. Stake
Wide sports coverage with secondary football priced alongside the main board.
-
Broad market range across multiple competitions.
-
Streaming on selected fixtures, a genuine advantage.
-
Custodial, so settled funds sit with the operator until withdrawn.
4. Vave
Deep football pricing that reaches into lower divisions.
-
300-plus markets on major football fixtures.
-
Player and goals markets past the headline lines.
-
Broad coin support for funding.
5. BC.Game
An established operator with a broad product across casino and sportsbook.
-
Long operating record under a Curacao licence.
-
Wide coin support across many assets.
-
Custodial, with balances held by the operator.
6. BetPanda
A multi-network platform with a cashback focus.
-
Multi-network funding across several chains.
-
Cashback promotions aimed at regular play.
-
Licensing not clearly published, which is a real mark against it.
7. Thunderpick
Included last with its weakness named, because it is a specialist.
-
Esports depth priced by a book that concentrates on it.
-
Provably fair casino alongside the sportsbook.
-
Thinner traditional football coverage, which is where every platform above beats it for this purpose.
Why Secondary Leagues Thin Out First
Understanding the commercial reason helps set expectations.
Pricing a market costs money. It requires data, a model and trading attention, and the return on that investment scales with how much money the market attracts.
A Premier League fixture justifies a full board because thousands of people will bet it. A second-tier midweek match may attract a fraction of that volume.
So books ration depth by expected turnover, and secondary competitions are where the rationing shows. This is not negligence, it is economics, and it explains why the same platform can look excellent on Saturday and thin on Tuesday.
The consequence for a bettor is simple: if your leagues are outside the largest few, a platform's headline reputation tells you very little.
A Coverage Test You Can Run in a Minute
Run this before opening an account, not after.
Open a midweek fixture in your league of choice, ideally between two mid-table clubs, and count what appears. A result, a goals line and both teams to score is the baseline every book offers.
Corners and cards indicate genuine investment. Player props on both sides indicate a platform treating the competition as a real market.
Then repeat it on a second league you follow. Coverage is rarely uniform, and a book strong on the Championship can be thin on the Eerste Divisie, as the Championship's own board demonstrates against smaller competitions.
Choosing on the Leagues You Actually Follow
The platform worth using is the one covering your competitions, not the one covering the most competitions overall. List the leagues you bet across a season, including the unfashionable ones, and test each platform against that list.
Confirm what is legal where you live, keep stakes within a set budget, and play only if you are of legal age, since KYC or AML checks may apply. Responsible gambling matters more as coverage widens, since a platform pricing forty competitions offers considerably more opportunities to bet than one pricing five.
