Altitude integrates Acctual for unified invoicing and bill pay

Running a crypto-native business has always meant stitching together an awkward patchwork of tools: one platform for invoicing, another for payments, a separate workflow for reconciliation, and somehow making them all talk to each other. Altitude is trying to kill that patchwork entirely.

The self-custodial digital asset account platform, operated by Selimor Investments Limited, announced on September 11, 2026, that it has integrated Acctual’s invoicing and bill payment capabilities into its core system. Altitude Invoicing is now live, sitting alongside the platform’s existing suite of accounts, payments, cards, and bill pay features.

What the integration actually does

The pitch is straightforward: businesses can now create invoices, track incoming payments, and manage outgoing bills all within one platform.

On the payment side, Altitude supports stablecoin balances like USDC as well as traditional rails including ACH, wire, and SEPA. That combination matters because it means a company can pay a crypto-native contractor in USDC and a legacy vendor via wire transfer without switching tools.

The integration also brings AI-assisted data ingestion and optical character recognition into the workflow. In practice, that means the system can read an uploaded invoice, extract the relevant figures, and slot them into the right fields automatically, reducing the manual entry that makes reconciliation so painful at month-end.

Context: who Altitude is built for

Altitude positions explicitly as a non-bank fintech solution designed for crypto-native and frontier businesses. The platform operates in more than 150 countries and offers multi-currency account options in USD and EUR, without requiring customers to have a US entity.

Altitude Bill Pay, the precursor to today’s invoicing announcement, launched on February 19, 2026. That feature already allowed direct payments from stablecoin balances or through fiat rails. The Acctual integration effectively adds the inbound side of the ledger to what was previously a mostly outbound tool.

The platform also offers corporate cards with up to 2% cash back.

On the custody question, Altitude is explicit: customers control their own wallets and funds. The underlying infrastructure is built on Squads Protocol, but Squads itself does not hold custody of user assets. Squads Protocol currently secures more than $10 billion in assets. The Squads and Altitude venture has raised $42.9 million in total funding to date.
