Retiring Is Not The Plan, Says President

President Joe Biden has recently finished a solo press conference in front of the white house press. The Biden press conference addressed some very interesting topics and discussions about this health, his time during the presidency, and his plans.

Similar to the Biden-Trump debate, this conference also had some blunders and appraises for Biden in attempting to question and explain the press despite his age.

1. Democrats Point Resignation During Biden Press Conference

More than 18 democrats have presented their opinions on this US election as they believe the president should resign considering his age and health issues. The same was seen during this Biden press conference as two democratic representatives called him to cancel the re-election campaign against Donald Trump.

The 2024 election will define the future of American democracy, and we must put forth the strongest candidate possible to confront the threat posed by Trump’s promised MAGA authoritarianism. I no longer believe that is Joe Biden, said Representative Jim Himes

2. Retiring Is Not The Plan

It did not take much of a thought for Biden when he dismissed people’s concerns and comments to make him resign.

I’m not in this for my legacy. I’m in this to complete the job I started” Said the president before clearing that the campaigns will continue and the voters can stay strong.

There were also questions about his health, and to address that, President Biden informed the press that he is in good shape per his physician, and he has also gone through three Neurological exams to confirm the same. Out of which, the most recent evolution was in February 2024.

The sarcasm was also part of the Biden Press Conference, where the President said that,

I’m tested every single day about my neurological capacity by decisions I make everyday matter what I did no one is going to be satisfied.

Lastly, he added that if he looks like slowly down and the job doesn’t get done, that is when he should not do it anymore, but for now, is there no sign of that.

3. Strengthening USA With NATO

The President utilized a good amount of time to showcase NATO’s success in building new alliances with Finland and Sweden. Also mentioned their success in showing support for Ukraine and rallying against Russia.

Additionally, he revealed the plans to expand NATO further and combat China’s influence. He also put pressure on bringing unity and opting for other strategies than using weapons to stay away from tragedies.

4. Referring to Vice President Kamala Harris as Vice President Trump & Volodymyr as Putin

The beginning of the Biden press conference was a little loose, as he struggled a little, leading to blunders in referring to people. He was talking about how he preferred Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate as he believed she could beat Trump. But instead of calling Vice President Kamala, his tongue slipped, and he spoke Vice President Trump.

Another time, during the discussion over NATO, he went to introduce Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. But instead, the words came out as “Ladies & Gentlemen, please welcome President Putin.”

After gasps and judging eyes, President Biden immediately corrected himself, saying “President Putin? You are going to beat Putin.”

5. Israel Gaza CeaseFire

The Israel-Gaza war is a serious topic of discussion, but the President has handled the topic quite well. He told the reporters that both countries have agreed to a ceasefire and that his team is already in the process of sealing the deal. He also addressed that the Israel-Gaza war should end without Israel occupying the enclave.

President also did not step back by mentioning his disappointment over his early decisions on the war.
