Binance Square, the social content hub embedded within the Binance exchange, now features a dedicated Stock tab that aggregates market news, user-generated insights, and discussions about equities and ETFs into one centralized feed.
From crypto feed to Wall Street watercooler
The Stock tab gives Binance Square users a single place to browse trending posts, share analysis, and consume news related to US stocks and ETFs.
This isn’t Binance’s first move toward integrating equities into its social infrastructure. Updates rolled out in July 2026 had already introduced direct links between individual US stock and ETF pages and community-driven discussions on Binance Square. The Stock tab takes that a step further by giving the entire asset class its own real estate within the platform’s navigation.
Back on June 1, 2026, Binance launched direct trading of over 7,000 US stocks and ETFs on its platform, complete with fractional shares starting at just $5 and 24/5 trading hours.
The bStocks backstory
The equities push didn’t appear out of thin air. It was built on the back of bStocks, Binance’s tokenized securities product. These are 1:1 backed tokens representing traditional stocks, and they hit $100 million in assets under management within just two weeks of launching on June 11, 2026.
The $5 minimum for fractional shares lowers the barrier to entry to roughly the price of a fancy coffee, which is clearly aimed at younger or smaller-balance traders who might treat stock investing as an extension of their crypto activity rather than a separate financial life.
Why a social layer matters for stocks
The July updates already let users create posts directly linked to specific stock and ETF pages, which means the Stock tab isn’t just a passive news reader. It’s designed to generate a feedback loop where trading activity sparks discussion and discussion drives trading activity.
With over 7,000 stocks and ETFs now tradeable, bStocks already past the $100 million AUM mark, and a social layer purpose-built for equity discussions, Binance is constructing what amounts to a parallel financial ecosystem.
