This price increase follows a 7% rise, causing BTC to reach an intraday high of $71,650 on May 21. The cryptocurrency is now close to its all-time high of $73,738 in USD terms, within just 3.4% of the same. The devaluation of local currencies and ongoing economic challenges in these countries have driven these new price hikes.
