Bitcoin & the Golden Age: what does it mean?

In his inaugural address, President Trump declared that America is entering a new golden age.

The term comes from Greek mythology and refers to a period of harmony, peace, prosperity, and stability.

Within 24 hours of the address, executive orders, department head appointments, and cabinet appointment confirmations affirmed that his words were more than political rhetoric.

So, what does it mean for Bitcoin and the Cryptoverse?

The early indicators point to it meaning a lot.

To begin with, Bitcoin remains over $100K with global support. Asian and European trading have seen values as high as $105K.

Next, the experts say long-term Bitcoin holders have bottomed out on their profit-taking selloff, meaning values over the $100K mark are as secure as any volatile asset.

This doesn’t mean Bitcoin could not drop below $100k in 2025, but it will not stay there (barring some global cataclysmic event).

The surprise launch of not one but two meme coins by (then) president-elect Trump and his wife reinforced the administration’s commitment to promoting Bitcoin and the Cryptoverse.

The move gained praise and ridicule and did two things for the Cryptoverse.
