- The Good Will Alliance of BNB Chain uses advanced filtering strategies to combat sandwich attacks.
- The alliance urges BSC validators to accept only blocks from vetted ethical builders.
- BNB Chain’s initiative gains strong community support with a 79% approval rate.
BNB Chain launched the Good Will Alliance to fight malicious Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) activities with special focus on stopping sandwich attacks. This initiative brings together essential infrastructure builders, validators and the broader BNB ecosystem to secure the platform and maintain ethical adherence.
Fighting Sandwich Attacks with Advanced Filters
Sandwich attacks a malicious MEV strategies have led to major losses for retail traders within the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The financial implications of these attacks lead to the loss of millions of dollars. The Good Will Alliance launched an aggressive defense plan focused on reducing attacks beginning with deploying specialized filters.
BlockRazor and 48 Club operate as major BNB ecosystem infrastructure builders who include sandwich attack filters in their block-building operations. The filtering system operates as an initial protection measure to prevent trading fraud attempts through sandwich attacks. The BNB Chain has urged all BSC builders to adopt similar measures in order to mitigate these malicious activities.
First initiative: push to reduce Sandwich Attacks on BSC.
Key infrastructure builders, @BlockRazor_inc and @48Club_Official, have already deployed Sandwich Attack filters in their block-building mechanisms.
This is just the start and we’re calling on all BSC builders to join…
The alliance has also established a GitHub repository where builders who follow these ethical standards are listed. To implement these security protocols, BSC validators must accept block bids exclusively from builders whose addresses are listed by this group.
Community Support and Future Plans
The Good Will Alliance has gained substantial support from the BNB Chain community when its proposal secured 79% approval in the DAO system in February 2025. The pass of this proposal highlighted that community-led security measures constitute vital network protection through penalties against malign actions as well as carrying safer solutions such as MEV-protected wallets.
The alliance works to achieve goals that surpass the prevention of sandwich attacks. The group aims to build new MEV attack detection tools while establishing detailed identification methods for sandwich attacks and promoting enhanced community collaboration. The alliance aims to develop further projects that will reinforce network fairness through governance processes and BNB Evolution Proposals (BEPs).
The BNB Chain has mentioned that its ongoing codebase enhancements will support these initiatives. The BNB alliance works to establish interoperable governance practices and technology innovations that enhance security for its ecosystem users.
