Brahma AI valued at $2B after $150M fundraise from Multiples

Brahma AI, an enterprise platform building AI tools for audiovisual content, has closed a $150 million growth equity round that values the company at $2 billion on a post-money basis. Indian private equity firm Multiples Alternate Asset Management led the deal with a $100 million commitment, and additional investor interest could push the total raise to $200 million.

Brahma AI was born from the infrastructure and talent pool of DNEG, the Oscar-winning visual effects house, and its parent company Prime Focus Limited.

The money and where it’s going

The $150 million injection will fund research and development, global sales expansion, and platform improvements across several verticals. Media, sports, healthcare, and advertising are all in the crosshairs. A bigger presence in Silicon Valley is also on the agenda.

The deal reshapes the ownership structure at the top. Prime Focus Limited, which operates Brahma AI through DNEG, will retain roughly 66% economic ownership after the dilution. But Prime Focus’s voting rights are expected to drop to around 25%.

Revenue trajectory and the Emmy on the shelf

Brahma AI reported pro-forma revenue of approximately $45 million in 2024, its founding year. That figure climbed to an estimated $74 million in 2025 and is expected to surpass $130 million in the current fiscal year.

At a $2 billion valuation against roughly $130 million in projected 2026 revenue, the company is trading at about 15x forward sales.

Brahma AI counts Warner Bros, the NBA, and the Mayo Clinic among its key customers. The company also picked up a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award for AI-based face replacement and performance preservation technology.

How Brahma AI was built

Brahma AI was assembled from existing pieces. Prime Focus Technologies and DNEG provided the foundational tech stack and domain expertise. Then, in February 2025, Brahma AI merged with Metaphysic, a generative AI firm known for its deepfake and face synthesis technology.

The platform today integrates content intelligence tools, branded as Core, with generative AI features called ATMAN and VAANI. Partners include Google and Japanese advertising giant Hakuhodo, alongside the DNEG relationship. CEO Prabhu Narasimhan leads the operation.
