Robinhood Chain, which went live on July 1, 2026, is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum Orbit technology. It operates under chain ID 4663 and has carved out a niche focusing on tokenized assets and decentralized finance. The chain has already processed hundreds of millions of transactions and attracted millions of unique addresses.
Until now, the chain’s official exploration services ran through Blockscout at robinhoodchain.blockscout.com. Etherscan has publicly stated it does not support Robinhood Chain.
Several independent, community-built explorer sites branded as “RobinScan” popped up shortly after the chain launched in July 2026. Sites like robinscan.io, robinscan.xyz, and robinscan.site offered read-only exploration of on-chain activity, though all publicly disclaimed any affiliation with either Etherscan or Robinhood Markets.
Some of these community explorers added features like whale tracking and transaction integrations with DeFi platforms. KyberSwap integration appeared on one such explorer around July 30, 2026. A DefiLlama listing related to RobinScan activity followed around August 5, 2026.
Robinhood Chain’s core pitch is bringing tokenized stocks and ETFs on-chain, blending traditional finance exposure with DeFi composability. The chain launched with partnerships with leading DeFi platforms including Uniswap to encourage liquidity and user participation. The network processes transactions settled to Ethereum and employs ETH as its gas currency.
The Arbitrum Orbit framework underpinning the chain provides lower transaction costs and higher throughput while inheriting Ethereum’s security model. Orbit chains can also customize their execution environments, which gives Robinhood flexibility to tailor the network for regulated asset classes.
