DeepSeek, the Chinese AI lab that rattled Silicon Valley earlier last year with its cost-efficient models, has reportedly invested approximately $20.8 million in Unitree Robotics ahead of the robotics company’s planned IPO on the Shanghai STAR Market. The offering could raise around 4.2 billion yuan, roughly $610 million, and value Unitree at up to 50 billion yuan, or approximately $7 billion.
