Everton signs Chelsea academy product Arthur Barratt for undisclosed fee

Everton has agreed to sign Arthur Barratt from Chelsea’s academy in a permanent transfer, adding the 16-year-old midfielder to their youth development setup. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Who is Arthur Barratt

Barratt, born on September 1, 2009, joined Chelsea’s Cobham academy at age 7. He has represented the club at U14, U15, and U16 levels, building a reputation for technical skill and playmaking ability during his time in one of English football’s most decorated youth systems.

The midfielder is of dual English-Vietnamese heritage, with his maternal grandmother being Vietnamese.
