The webinars on gaming with Ubisoft, The Sandbox, and Decentraland
Technically, it is an online educational program for Web2 and Web3 game developers.
The program is organized by Starknet Foundation together with Ubisoft, The Sandbox, and Decentraland.
The purpose of the initiative is to unveil the secrets of merging traditional gaming with the revolutionary Web3 ecosystem.
The course will focus on new technologies, effective marketing, community management strategies, sustainable monetization approaches, and other skills in game design, programming, and asset creation.
Among the instructors, there will be game developers from Ubisoft, ecosystem builders from Starknet, and some veterans of the Web3 gaming sector like Kim Currier, head of partnerships and marketing at Decentraland, and Sebastien Borget, Chief Operating Officer at The Sandbox.
Within four to six weeks, the Starknet Foundation will moderate a series of one-hour webinars with prominent professionals from the gaming industry who will share insights and lessons. Each week, participants will be encouraged to join open channels to exchange ideas and participate in monitored Q&A sessions. The Starknet Foundation will oversee the initiative by managing registrations, communications, and publishing relevant materials.

The Sandbox and Decentraland
The Sandbox and Decentraland are two Web3 platforms for gaming.
Technically, they are metaverses, that is, virtual worlds in 3D where users can create, own, and monetize their gaming experiences with digital assets.
They are based on the Ethereum blockchain, and players can purchase virtual land plots and build their own interactive experiences, which can be games, art exhibitions, virtual concerts, and much more.
They are decentralized platforms with their own native token.
Within them, users can use intuitive creation tools to design their own gaming experiences, create digital assets, and customize their own lands.
