GRAM soars as Telegram CEO teases native wallet rollout this summer

Telegram founder Pavel Durov on Tuesday announced plans to launch a non-custodial Gram wallet across every Telegram app this summer. The rollout is expected to bring instant, zero-fee crypto transactions to over one billion users worldwide.

Gram (GRAM), formerly known as Toncoin (TON), surged about 8%, climbing from $1.44 to nearly $1.56 following the announcement, CoinGecko data shows.

The move marks Telegram’s latest push to integrate blockchain functionality into its global messaging ecosystem.
