Mirendil was founded by Behnam Neyshabur and Harsh Mehta, both former researchers at Anthropic who departed in December 2025. The company emerged from stealth mode in late June 2026, raising a $200 million seed round that valued the company at $1 billion, making it one of the largest seed rounds in AI history.
