From 12 to 14 September, the ancient walls of the monumental complex of Santa Maria La Nova, a Gothic-Baroque jewel in the beating heart of Naples, will host Napul.ETH, the first Web3 Open Village in Italy dedicated to the Ethereum ecosystem.
This historic place, witness to centuries of artistic and cultural evolution, is transformed for the first time into a living laboratory at the forefront of blockchain technology. As classic architecture merges with the innovation of the future, participants will be able to explore the transformative impact of blockchain technologies on the economy and society.
During these days, you will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, networking sessions, discussion panels, and presentations from industry experts. It’s a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of blockchain, with a particular focus on emerging innovations and practical applications that are transforming different sectors of the economy and society. The most important topics of the moment will be addressed, starting from DeFi, NFTs, tokenization of real assets, regulation, and much more.
Mission of the Event
We are in Naples, a city incredibly rich in IT potential. Unfortunately, there is no significant awareness of the potential of blockchain here. A city with many young developers who know little about it. The organizers realized that there is an important gap in central-southern Italy and decided to transform this problem into an opportunity by creating an event that raises awareness, disseminates information, and promotes technology. This event aims to be a real point of contact between innovation and development for individuals and companies.
Let’s Recap
- Education and Training: The program is designed to accommodate participants at all levels of experience, from complete beginners to industry experts. Education, dissemination, and promotion of blockchain technologies are our strong points.
- Networking and Building Contacts: This event can serve as a platform to connect developers, entrepreneurs, investors, and enthusiasts. These meetings foster collaboration, can lead to the formation of new partnerships, the exchange of ideas, and the start of joint projects.
Other Focal Points of the Event:
- Innovation and Development of New Ideas: Through workshops, startup battles, and brainstorming sessions, the event can stimulate innovation and the exploration of new ideas. This is especially valuable for developers looking to apply blockchain technology in new and creative ways.
- Talent Scouting and Career Opportunities: The event can also function as a talent discovery hub, where companies can meet and recruit developers and professionals interested in careers in cryptocurrency and blockchain.
- Raising Awareness of Social and Economic Impact: An important goal is to raise awareness of how blockchain technology can have a positive impact on social and economic issues, such as transparency in transactions, data security, digital identity, and financial inclusion.
What Can You Learn from NapulETH?
NapulETH does not limit itself to presenting the concepts of blockchain and Web3.0 but aims to offer a practical and operational opportunity for all those new to the world of blockchain, paying particular attention to DeFi wallets such as MetaMask as a primary learning tool.
Through a series of interactive workshops, participants will learn the basics of blockchain technology and put them into practice. At the heart of this empowerment process is the ability to effectively manage and use cryptocurrency wallets.
- Set up and manage a MetaMask wallet;
- Understand the main features of MetaMask;
- Become familiar with cybersecurity best practices.
How Did It Go Last Year?
The 2023 event, known as SpaghettETH, despite the Bear Market period, with the crypto markets in a bearish phase, more than 500 Web3 enthusiasts gathered in Naples to participate in this conference. The event was organized at the Foqus Foundation, in an open and inclusive context that provided the perfect setting for this gathering. Here, students, professionals, and residents of the neighborhood were able to meet and share their experiences and knowledge in the field of blockchain technology.
Despite the market challenges, the conference proved to be a major success. The energy and enthusiasm of the participants demonstrated the resilience of the Web3 community in the face of adversity. Furthermore, the meeting with the local community had a profound impact, creating bridges between otherwise separate worlds.
Spoilers This Year
The contagious enthusiasm of SpaghettETH 2023 lit a spark that still burns, fueling the anticipation for the 2024 edition. This year the conference is preparing with an even richer and more engaging program.
- Low Prices: There are no price barriers: tickets for the event start from just €8 and reach a maximum of €30. With rates so accessible to all, the organizers want to inspire and involve a large and diverse audience, including those who are simply curious and are not the so-called “industry insiders.”
- New Locations, New Speakers, and New Food for Thought: Multiple locations, side events, and different venues across the city to accommodate an even greater number of participants.
- Parterre of Experts: Internationally renowned speakers, industry leaders, and visionary innovators will share their knowledge and experience.
- Current Issues: Focus on Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Metaverse, and the latest Web3 trends. Workshops and Hackathons. Opportunities for hands-on learning and the development of new skills.
- Networking and Community: Spaces dedicated to meeting, collaboration, and the creation of synergies between participants.
