Today, Bitcoin (BTC) marked another ATH at $93,400, but in the memecoin category, there are some cryptos that are performing better than BTC itself. Going beyond Dogecoin, what are the top three meme cryptos of the moment?

The three top performing memecoins of Bitcoin at its new ATH

In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin (BTC) has recorded its new all-time high (ATH) at a price that exceeded $93,400. 

At the time of writing, BTC is worth $91,140 and is in a pump of +4% compared to exactly 24 hours ago. The weekly chart, on the other hand, indicates a price pump for BTC of +22% compared to seven days ago. 

But how are the other crypto behaving?

Analyzing the category of memecoin on CoinMarketCap, there have been price pumps compared to one day ago and seven days ago, much higher than those recorded by Bitcoin (BTC).

Limiting the field to the top 10 memecoins by market capitalization, it is possible to identify the top 3 most performing memecoins of the moment. 

With a price pump of 36% in the last 24 hours and +1495% compared to seven days ago, Peanut The Squirrel (PNUT) emerges in first place. 

Always on the podium of the moment, in second place there is Pepe (PEPE) with a price pump of +57% in the last 24 hours and 100% compared to a week ago. In third place, then, there is dogwifhat (WIF) with a price pump of +33% in the last 24 hours and +73% compared to a week ago. 

Even Dogecoin (DOGE), the memecoin par excellence, has recorded significant performance with a price pump of +105% in the last seven days, but only 1% compared to a day ago.

By analyzing more deeply the three top-performing Bitcoin memecoins of the moment, it is possible to notice their price situation as well as their project. 

In the case of PNUT, the meme crypto reached its all-time high price of $2.44 in the last 24 hours. In reality, the top memecoin of the moment was recently launched in the market, managing to accumulate a market cap of 1.84 billion dollars. 

Speaking of PEPE, it seems that the memecoin has managed to conquer new crypto-exchanges. Coinbase announced yesterday the new listing of PEPE.

Regarding WIF, the price of the third most performing memecoin at the moment is $4.04. WIF is getting closer to its all-time high or ATH marked last March 2024, at $4.50. 

Dogecoin under the spotlight

When talking about memecoin, one cannot fail to mention Dogecoin (DOGE), the meme crypto par excellence, publicly supported by the infamous Elon Musk. 

In fact, DOGE has captured the crypto community and has grown significantly, reaching a value of 60 billion dollars.

The performance of the leader of the memecoins, born in 2013 as a joke, has today surpassed several multinationals like Mercedes Benz and Ford, in terms of market capitalization.
