PancakeSwap v3 hosts $3B in spot DEX trading volume for tokenized stocks

A year ago, tokenized stocks on decentralized exchanges were a rounding error. Now they’re a multi-billion-dollar category, and PancakeSwap v3 is running the table.

The DEX has processed roughly $3.1 to $3.3 billion in tokenized stock trading volume since the start of 2026, placing it at the top of a leaderboard that includes Raydium CLMM and Uniswap v4. For a segment that accounted for just 0.1% of total DEX spot volume at the end of 2025, the trajectory has been nothing short of vertical.

From fringe experiment to 4% of DEX volume

Tokenized stocks have grown from $212 million in total DEX volume at the close of 2025 to $4.27 billion through the first three quarters of 2026. That growth pushed the category’s share of all DEX spot trading from 0.1% to 4.34%.

PancakeSwap has captured the lion’s share. Its $3.1 to $3.3 billion in volume edges out Raydium CLMM, which sits at approximately $3.1 billion, while Uniswap v4 trails at around $1.9 billion.

Daily volume tells the real story

The platform’s daily peak came in late June 2026, when tokenized equity volume exceeded $565 million in a single day.

bStocks on BNB Chain has also shown impressive activity, with a recent daily snapshot capturing $676.8 million in volume.

Why tokenized stocks are catching on

Traditional equity markets operate roughly 6.5 hours a day, five days a week. Tokenized versions trade around the clock, every day of the year. Fractionalization adds another layer, enabling purchases of fractional shares without a brokerage account, minimum balances, or KYC friction. The composability angle — where tokenized stocks can plug into lending protocols, yield strategies, or structured products — opens use cases that simply don’t exist in traditional finance.

PancakeSwap’s concentrated liquidity model lets liquidity providers allocate capital within specific price ranges rather than spreading it across the entire curve, resulting in tighter spreads for traders and better capital efficiency for LPs.

The broader tokenized stock market hit $11.1 billion in volume across major DEX platforms in 2025, establishing the foundation for 2026’s acceleration.
