How both teams got here
PRX punched their ticket to the upper final by taking down Team Vitality on June 16. It was the kind of clinical performance that PRX fans have come to expect from a roster that has now qualified for 13 international VCT events.
EDward Gaming took a slightly rockier path. EDG defeated Xi Lai Gaming (XLG) with a 2-1 scoreline on June 15, surviving a map loss before closing things out.

VALORANT Masters London 2026 runs from June 6 to June 21 and serves as the second major global event in the VCT 2026 season. The tournament structure rewards upper bracket success heavily. The team that wins this PRX vs. EDG match skips directly to the Grand Finals. The loser has to win one more series through the lower bracket just to reach the same stage.
PRX’s victory at Masters Toronto in 2025 was a watershed moment for Southeast Asian esports. They became the first team from the region to win an international VALORANT trophy. A third Grand Finals appearance would reinforce that Toronto was not a one-off.
