Paul Grewal, the Chief Legal Officer of Coinbase, has expressed staunch criticism of the SEC’s statement in the DebtBox case and questioned major crypto entities in the industry. He asked Robinhood if they received a thorough explanation in the ‘Wells’ process and questioned Ripple, Binance, Kraken, and Uniswap, which had received Wells Notices from the SEC. He slammed the SEC for not following the Wells process, which provides clarity to its potential defendants. He further added that the SEC had not provided them with a thorough explanation of which assets were at issue.
