Emerging in 2024 as a Solana-based infrastructure for meme token creation and exchange, the platform has evolved into a major player in the cryptocurrency launch space. Currently, PUMP holds the #52 position in global market cap rankings.

Daily trading activity reached $389.33 million in volume. Binance dominated exchange flows with $414.68M, trailed by OKX registering $225.64M and Hyperliquid capturing $210.97M in trading volume.

Technical Pattern Collapse

Analysis of the 4-hour PUMP/USDT chart reveals that price action had maintained an upward trajectory within an ascending channel for more than seven days. This formation has now failed, with PUMP breaking beneath the channel boundaries and approaching underlying support territory.

The Relative Strength Index has descended to 40.60, positioned below its 52.80 moving average. This indicator confirms a momentum reversal from the prior upward trend.

A cryptocurrency market analyst shared a bearish outlook on X, observing that PUMP’s bullish trendline—which had provided support for approximately two months—has been violated. The analyst emphasized the critical support area as the decisive level, cautioning that a definitive breakdown could trigger a substantial correction phase.

Should buying pressure emerge at present levels, PUMP might rebound toward the $0.004638 threshold. Breaking above that point would expose $0.004944, with further upside potential to $0.005231 if momentum persists.

In a bearish scenario, $0.003902 represents the immediate downside target. Subsequent support zones exist at $0.003612 and $0.003357.

Platform Expansion and Application Status

This week, Pump.fun unveiled 20 additional token pairs, enabling users to create tokens pegged to tokenized equities, precious metals, and leading digital currencies. The platform will allocate 50% of fees generated from these pairs toward $PUMP token buyback and burn mechanisms.
