Ripple (XRP) has minted an additional 28.2 million RLUSD tokens in the past 24 hours. This includes $25 million worth of RLUSD on Ethereum, marking its largest single mint since December 2024. The new issuance has doubled the stablecoin’s supply in less than two months.

RLUSD Supply Expands Amid Growing Demand

Data from CoinGecko indicates that the stablecoin’s market capitalization now stands at $169.5 million. The RLUSD tokens exist mostly on the Ethereum network and the blockchain carries 125.64 million circulating RLUSD tokens. The XRP Ledger contains 44.05 million RLUSD tokens.

Ripple issued the newest mint as part of a continuous expansion since launching RLUSD. Since March began Ripple has created more than 34 million tokens that exist between Ethereum and XRP Ledger networks. The rising supply demonstrates that the stablecoin attracts more adoption as market demand continues to increase.

On March 13, Ripple received approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) before initiating the minting process. With this regulatory approval, Ripple can now operate its regulated crypto payment services throughout the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The DFSA has officially recognized Ripple as its first blockchain-based payments service provider.

The company has established its intention to expand into Middle Eastern markets and additional international regions. It will establish institutional-grade payment solutions throughout Singapore and Ireland. The regulatory approval strengthens Ripple’s ability to perform secure and compliant crypto transactions.

The DIFC Authority stands behind Ripple as the company extends its business operations. According to the organizational statement, Dubai plays a key role in creating blockchain-friendly conditions to stimulate business advancement. The UAE implements this step as part of its international goal to become an international center for digital assets.

Ripple Strengthens Presence in the Middle East

The company’s expansion strategy follows the main developments within the crypto sector. Finance professionals in the Middle East and Africa specifically identified blockchain’s ability to facilitate faster settlements because 64% of their leaders value this feature according to a Ripple survey from 2024. Blockchain-based financial solutions have gained increased interest in this particular region.

The company grows its operations by focusing on regulatory compliance. RLUSD has been launched by the company to serve as an institutional-grade reliable stablecoin for transactions. The current developments from Ripple point toward a forthcoming age where digital finance will gain more widespread acceptance.
