Robinhood’s European crypto branch has launched Solana staking for customers in Europe, offering roughly 5% APY, which may vary as staking rewards change. Solana’s shorter bonding period, simpler than Ethereum’s, and its popularity among EU customers caught the firm’s attention. Robinhood Crypto was launched in December as a crypto trading app in the EU, listing 33 tokens. Robinhood’s US branch delisted Solana after the SEC alleged it to be an unregistered security. Robinhood Crypto also received a Wells Notice from the SEC regarding its crypto listings.
