What if XRP ETFs could bring in billions of dollars in investments, potentially causing its price to soar by 30%? A major prediction from JPMorgan now has support from a leading Bloomberg analyst, hinting that XRP’s future in the ETF market might be bigger than anyone expected. Could this be the moment that XRP’s price breaks its ATH?

XRP ETFs Could Bring $3-8 Billions

JPMorgan recently forecasted that XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) could attract a massive $3 billion to $8 billion in investments during their first year. This prediction has made waves in the cryptocurrency world, and it’s not just JPMorgan saying it’s possible.

Senior Bloomberg ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas has joined the conversation, stating that JPMorgan’s estimate is a “pretty reasonable guess.”

JPMorgan is saying that alt-coin ETF will collect $14b in flows in first year, $3-6b for Solana and $4-8b for XRP. My team hasn't made any formal predictions yet but this seems like a pretty reasonable guess. Gotta get the approvals first tho. Story via @isabelletanleepic.twitter.com/Rc4rLIsJim

His endorsement brings additional credibility to the optimistic outlook for XRP and other altcoins like Solana, which are expected to benefit from a similar wave of investment once their respective ETFs launch.

The Rise of XRP and Solana ETFs

The success of Bitcoin ETFs in 2024 has set a high bar for altcoins like XRP and Solana. Experts believe that these altcoins could soon see the same influx of investment as Bitcoin did.

According to JPMorgan’s report projects that XRP ETFs could tap into a 3% to 6% market penetration, resulting in $3 billion to $8 billion in investments. Solana, another favorite in the space, could see $3 billion to $5 billion in ETF inflows in their first year.

These projections are based on the performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, with Bitcoin ETFs currently holding around $108 billion in assets, representing about 6% of its market cap.

Can We Expect XRP & SOL ETF Approval Soon?

Despite the excitement surrounding XRP and Solana ETFs, regulatory hurdles could delay their approval. However, JPMorgan remains hopeful that these ETFs will be greenlit in 2025, especially with the crypto-friendly stance of President-elect Donald Trump and the nomination of Paul Atkins for SEC chair.

With such political backing, many analysts believe that approval may be closer than expected.

Impact on XRP’s Price

According to JPMorgan’s predictions, the success of XRP ETFs could result in significant price growth, with estimates suggesting a 30% increase by the end of January.

If these ETFs bring in billions, XRP’s market cap could surge, potentially setting the stage for even higher gains targeting around $3.82
