T1A Haetae joins Shadow Corporation Agency for representation

1 hour ago 11

Haetae, the top laner for T1 Esports Academy, has signed with Shadow Corporation, one of the most prominent esports talent agencies operating across the LCK and LPL ecosystems. The move signals that one of Korean League of Legends’ more intriguing development prospects is gearing up for a bigger stage.

Shadow Corporation represents over 100 players across the LCK and LPL, South Korea’s and China’s premier League of Legends leagues respectively.

A playoff run that turned heads

T1 Esports Academy qualified for the LCK Challengers League playoffs and then proceeded to dismantle KT with a clean 3-0 sweep to take the title on September 15, 2026.

Haetae, who previously competed under the names star and Caesar, joined T1’s academy roster on November 27, 2024. His contract with T1 runs through November 16, 2026, which means he’s approaching a decision point. Signing with Shadow Corporation now positions him to have experienced negotiators in his corner when that contract window opens.

His career prize earnings sit at roughly $7,166, a number that reflects his academy-level status rather than his potential ceiling.

What Shadow Corporation brings to the table

Shadow Corporation was founded in January 2020 by Park Jae-seok and has grown into one of the more consequential agencies in the Asian League of Legends ecosystem. The agency manages over 100 players total, with a particular concentration in the LCK and LPL circuits.

In April 2026, the agency executed health support memorandums of understanding, and in May 2026, it formalized legal advisory contracts in China. These address real friction points for Korean players moving to Chinese teams: navigating a foreign legal system, managing health concerns away from home, and handling the logistical headaches that come with relocating to a different country.
