However, the XRP Ledger operates independently through validator consensus, ensuring no single entity can dictate its functionality. Despite Ripple’s significant holdings, it cannot unilaterally control the network’s operations. This consensus mechanism reinforces the network’s decentralization while maintaining its integrity.

Structural Stability

The total XRP supply remains fixed at 100 billion, providing structural stability. While Ripple’s escrow strategy ensures phased liquidity, exchanges and individual holders play crucial roles in the asset’s widespread adoption and market integration.
