Zoomex Card: How Zoomex Is Turning Crypto Holdings Into Everyday Spending Power

2 hours ago 12

Zoomex, the global cryptocurrency trading platform built around the values of simplicity, ease of use, and speed, has spent 2026 pushing beyond the order book. From its Predict Market to its F1 partnership with the TGR Haas team, the exchange has been steadily building out a broader ecosystem around its core trading business, all documented on its company news hub

The Zoomex Card is one of the clearest expressions of that strategy yet: a multi-currency virtual Mastercard that lets users convert digital assets sitting in their Zoomex account into fiat and spend them at merchants around the world, without ever having to leave the crypto economy to do it.

The idea behind the card is straightforward. Crypto has historically lived in a separate lane from everyday spending, useful for trading and holding but cumbersome to actually use at a checkout counter. Zoomex first floated a fix for that gap in December 2025, when it opened early registration for the Zoomex Card, describing it as a compliant crypto payment card built around a global multi-currency bank account connected to both traditional payment rails and crypto on/off-ramps. That early registration phase gave supporters a head start on benefits like cashback and card-issuance perks once the product went live.

How the Zoomex Card Works

The card itself is the product of a partnership between Zoomex and UR, a fully regulated and licensed financial platform whose infrastructure powers the banking side of the experience. Users deposit USDC into their Zoomex Card account, exchange it into one of several supported fiat currencies including USD, EUR, CHF, JPY, SGD, and HKD, and spend directly online or through Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Funds can also move back to the Zoomex trading platform when a user wants to return to the market rather than the till.

Zoomex CEO Jerry Hsu has framed the goal simply: users shouldn’t have to keep switching between the crypto world and traditional finance, but should instead be able to hold everything in one integrated account. UR’s Chief Product Officer, Ng Yingzhong, has echoed that framing from the banking side, describing the collaboration as a step toward bringing digital assets into everyday spending and cross-border use while keeping bank-grade compliance and security intact.

Zoomex carried that story into its full global launch of the Zoomex Card in the spring of 2026, positioning the product as more than a convenience feature and instead as part of a broader push toward what the company calls a transparent ecosystem, extending the same emphasis on fairness and clarity that runs through Zoomex’s trading products into the payments layer as well.

Under the hood, the card is currently issued as a virtual Mastercard rather than a physical one, so there is no ATM withdrawal support at this stage, and it is usable wherever Mastercard is accepted online. Getting one starts with linking a Zoomex account, completing identity verification through UR using a passport or chip-enabled ID, and then activating the card once the application clears.

Zoomex has published a detailed Zoomex Card User Guide and a step-by-step Application Guide covering the whole process, from KYC to binding the card to a mobile wallet. Because UR operates under regional licensing requirements, availability depends on where a user is based, and Zoomex maintains an up-to-date list of supported countries and regions for anyone checking eligibility before they apply.

Security and Compliance

Security sits underneath all of it. Asset custody for the card runs through UR, itself operating under Swiss regulatory oversight, and Zoomex has been vocal about how it protects user funds more broadly, laying out its approach in a dedicated piece on its CEX security architecture. That same account can also tie back into the exchange’s existing fiat on-ramp options, giving users more than one route between traditional currency and crypto depending on what they’re trying to do.

Taken together, the Zoomex Card is a fairly natural next step for a platform that has spent the past year expanding well past spot and derivatives trading. Whether someone is topping up a subscription, covering a hotel bill on a trip, or just wants their crypto balance to do something more than sit in a wallet, the card gives Zoomex users a direct line from on-chain assets to the checkout screen. It also slots neatly alongside the rest of the Zoomex account, from the exchange’s VIP program to its Rewards Hub, giving active users another reason to keep their whole financial life inside one platform.
