Binance to delist ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY, and VIC on Aug. 17, 2026

Binance is pulling the plug on six tokens next month. ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY, and VIC will all be removed from spot trading on August 17, 2026, marking the latest culling in the exchange’s ongoing effort to prune projects that don’t meet its listing standards.

For holders of these tokens, the math is simple: get out before the deadline, or deal with the headache of withdrawing assets to external wallets after liquidity evaporates.

The monitoring tag pipeline

Binance has a system called the Monitoring Tag, which is essentially a yellow card for tokens showing elevated volatility or signs of non-compliance with the exchange’s requirements. HFT was the first of this group to land on the Monitoring Tag, getting flagged back on May 22, 2026. PYR and VANRY followed on July 3, 2026. ACX joined the list on July 24, 2026. PIVX had already been removed from Binance Margin and Loan trading pairs on April 17, 2026, a clear signal that the exchange was distancing itself from the project well before the final delisting announcement.

PYR saw roughly an 11% price drop after being added to the Monitoring Tag on July 3. VIC’s inclusion rounds out the list.

What each project does, and why it’s being cut

ACX is the token for Across Protocol, a cross-chain bridge focused on fast transfers. HFT powers Hashflow, a decentralized trading protocol. PIVX is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency that’s been around since 2016. PYR is the native token of Vulcan Forged, a blockchain gaming ecosystem. VANRY belongs to Vanar Chain, a layer-1 network targeting entertainment and gaming. VIC is associated with Viction, formerly known as TomoChain.

Binance doesn’t typically publish the specific reasons a token fails its review. The exchange has previously stated that it evaluates projects based on factors like team commitment, development activity, trading volume, network stability, and regulatory compliance.

What holders need to do

If you’re holding any of these six tokens on Binance, trading will be suspended on August 17, 2026. After that date, you won’t be able to buy or sell these assets on the platform. Binance typically allows withdrawals for a period after delisting. The practical advice is straightforward: decide whether to sell before the deadline or transfer tokens to a self-custody wallet or another exchange that still lists them.

The bigger picture for investors

Every project currently listed on Binance should be paying attention to the Monitoring Tag system as a leading indicator. Binance has made it clear that maintaining a listing is not a one-time achievement but an ongoing obligation, with projects needing to demonstrate continued development, healthy trading activity, and compliance with evolving regulatory expectations. Monitoring Tag additions are publicly announced, making them one of the simplest risk-management signals available to retail investors.
