The KeSPA Cup, South Korea’s marquee League of Legends offseason tournament, is coming back on July 20 with every LCK team in the bracket and a single place to watch it: Disney+.

What we know about the 2026 KeSPA Cup

All 10 teams from the League of Legends Champions Korea will participate. That means T1, Hanwha Life Esports, Gen.G, DRX, and the rest of the league’s full roster will be competing in what has become the sport’s unofficial preseason proving ground.

The tournament is organized by the Korea Esports Association, better known as KeSPA, which has been running this event in various forms since 2005. Back then it was a StarCraft affair. Since 2014, the cup has been revived as an annual League of Legends competition, and the shift to LoL has stuck.

The 2025 edition ran from December 6 to 14 and featured 14 total teams, blending LCK squads with additional local and international rosters. T1 took the trophy that year, edging out Hanwha Life Esports in a 3-2 final that went the distance.

The July 20 date for the 2026 edition represents a notable calendar shift. Previous KeSPA Cups have typically landed in December, serving as a bridge between competitive seasons.

Disney+ goes deeper into esports

This isn’t Disney+’s first move into Korean esports. The platform expanded its partnership with KeSPA on April 6, 2026, broadening its streaming portfolio to include additional events like the Esports Champions Asia Jinju 2026.
