Kylian Mbappé has scored against all 23 La Liga teams he has faced at Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé has officially run out of La Liga defenses to haunt for the first time. The French forward scored against Elche on September 15, making it 23 out of 23 La Liga opponents beaten on the scoresheet since his summer 2024 move from PSG to Real Madrid.

The goal came in the 33rd minute of a 3-2 Real Madrid victory, a match where Mbappé took a painful collision with the goalkeeper and still managed to find the net. Elche had been the lone holdout, the one name left unchecked on a list that now reads like a complete directory of Spanish top-flight football.

The numbers behind the streak

In his debut 2024/25 campaign, he netted 31 league goals. He followed that with 25 in 2025/26. Two seasons, two Pichichi Trophies, and now a perfect record against every team he’s faced.

The 2026/27 season is barely underway and Mbappé already has 7 goals in 6 appearances. His total goal tally at Real Madrid has reached 94 across all competitions by mid-September 2026.

Elche: the final boss

Elche had proven surprisingly stubborn. In their previous meeting during the 2025/26 season, Madrid were held to a 2-2 draw, with Mbappé failing to score.

Two newly promoted sides, Deportivo de A Coruña and Racing Santander, have not yet faced Mbappé this season. So while the “all 23 teams” record is technically complete against every opponent he’s encountered, the to-do list will grow as the fixture calendar fills out.

A transfer that delivered on the hype

When Mbappé left PSG for Real Madrid in the summer of 2024, his first season produced 31 La Liga goals and the Pichichi Trophy. His second produced 25 more goals and another Pichichi. Now, under the management of Xabi Alonso, he’s scoring at an even faster rate to start his third campaign.

What this means for the season ahead

Seven goals in six matches to open 2026/27 suggests he hasn’t hit any kind of plateau. Only a handful of players in La Liga’s long history have claimed three Pichichi Trophies in a row, and doing so would place Mbappé in truly rarefied company.

With Deportivo de A Coruña and Racing Santander still waiting on the schedule, Mbappé will have two fresh opportunities to extend his perfect record to 25 out of 25.
