DoubleZero, the high-speed data network built to turbocharge Solana’s blockchain performance, is now piping real-time order book data from Kalshi’s prediction markets directly to institutional traders. The expansion, delivered through a product called DoubleZero Edge, marks a convergence: a network originally designed to shuttle blockchain data is now also serving as a delivery mechanism for regulated financial market feeds.
What DoubleZero Edge actually does
DoubleZero Edge launched in April 2026, initially focused on delivering Solana’s raw blockchain data, known as “shreds,” with minimal latency. By August 2026, it expanded to include full Level 1 and Level 2 order book streaming for Kalshi’s sports contracts and crypto perpetual futures.
Level 1 data shows the best bid and ask prices. Level 2 reveals the full depth of the order book, every resting order at every price level. Before this integration, traders accessing Kalshi data had to rely on standard APIs, which are slower by nature.
The network has already achieved significant adoption on the Solana side. Over 63% of Solana’s mainnet stake, roughly valued at $21 billion at the time of reporting, has migrated to DoubleZero.
The Kalshi connection runs deeper than a data feed
Kalshi, the CFTC-regulated prediction market platform, tokenized thousands of its market offerings on Solana back in December 2025. That effort used DFlow for on-chain trading and Jupiter for liquidity, turning Kalshi’s contracts into SPL tokens, Solana’s native token standard.
Kalshi has reported significant volume growth heading into this integration. The DoubleZero data feed adds the ability for sophisticated traders to monitor and react to Kalshi’s order flow at speeds that matter for execution quality.
