Sweden reveals League of Legends roster for Esports Nations Cup 2026

Sweden has locked in its League of Legends lineup for the Esports Nations Cup 2026, and it reads like a greatest-hits compilation of Nordic talent. The roster features Kryze in the top lane, Yike in the jungle, Larssen at mid, UNF0RGIVEN as ADC, and Rekkles at support, all under the stewardship of head coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi.

The ENC 2026 is the first edition of a biennial national-team esports tournament organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation in collaboration with ESL FACEIT Group. It’s set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, running from November 2 through November 29, with the League of Legends segment occupying the final stretch from November 21 to November 29.

What Sweden is bringing to Riyadh

Rekkles is perhaps the most recognizable name on the list. Seeing him slotted into the support role rather than his traditional ADC position is an interesting wrinkle, suggesting the coaching staff is willing to get creative with how they deploy their talent.

Larssen, holding down the mid lane, brings consistent high-level play from his time competing at the top of the European scene. Yike adds jungle pressure, while Kryze rounds out the solo lanes in the top position. UNF0RGIVEN takes over ADC duties, completing a lineup that blends experience with mechanical firepower.

Sweden earned its spot through a direct invite, based on national rankings and performance pathways.

The bigger picture: what is the Esports Nations Cup?

The ENC is a multi-title competition where players represent their countries rather than their club organizations. League of Legends is one of 16 titles featured at the event.

The League of Legends tournament alone will feature 32 national teams. The prize pool for the LoL portion sits at $1.5 million, with the first-place team taking home $300K.

The inclusion of League of Legends in the ENC was confirmed on February 24, 2026. The Esports World Cup Foundation has designed the ENC as a rotating tournament. Riyadh hosts the inaugural edition, but future iterations will move to different cities.
