Xtreme Gaming unveils new roster featuring Ame and Xm

Xtreme Gaming has revealed a revamped Dota 2 roster headlined by carry player Wang “Ame” Chunyu and the return of mid laner Guo “Xm” Hongcheng. The Chinese organization also announced it has secured direct invites to upcoming BLAST and PGL events, giving the new lineup a runway to prove itself on tier-one stages almost immediately.

The new five and what they bring

The full roster slots in as follows: Ame at Position 1 (carry), Xm at Position 2 (mid), Nicholas “zeal” Lim Eng Han at Position 3 (offlane), Zhao “XinQ” Zixing at Position 4 (soft support), and Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao at Position 5 (hard support). Wang “Maps” Yutian rounds out the squad as head coach.

Ame is the gravitational center of this project. The 29-year-old carry player has accumulated career earnings north of $4.5 million, a figure that puts him in rarefied air within Dota 2’s competitive scene.

Zeal, a Southeast Asian player, adds an international dimension to what has traditionally been an all-Chinese roster.

The TI hangover and what went wrong

Xtreme Gaming finished as runner-up at The International 2025, falling 2-3 to Team Falcons in a Grand Final that went the full distance. The organization, founded on January 16, 2021, has accumulated total winnings exceeding $3.7 million across its relatively short lifespan.

BLAST and PGL invites change the equation

The direct invites to BLAST and PGL events are arguably as significant as the roster itself. In modern Dota 2’s fractured tournament ecosystem, getting guaranteed slots at premier events means the team doesn’t have to grind through open qualifiers while simultaneously building chemistry.

The invites also reflect the organization’s accumulated competitive capital. Xtreme Gaming’s TI Grand Final appearance, combined with Ame’s individual drawing power, makes them a commercially attractive invite regardless of how new the roster is.
