Estimate rewards in tokens at a constant rate you enter. Compare simple rewards with a mathematical compounding model after reward commission.
How the calculation works
Net nominal rate = APR × (1 - reward commission). Simple reward = principal × net rate × days ÷ 365. Compound balance = principal × (1 + net rate ÷ frequency)^(frequency × days ÷ 365).
Worked example
Example: 1,000 tokens at 10% nominal APR for 365 days earn 100 tokens before commission. A 10% reward commission leaves 90 tokens with no compounding.
How to use the result
Enter a nominal APR, not an already compounded APY. Reward commission reduces each modelled reward before reinvestment.
Compound mode allows fractional mathematical periods. An actual protocol may pay at discrete dates, change rates or delay activation and withdrawal.
What this result leaves out
- Token-price changes, taxes, slashing, protocol losses, lockups and changing reward rates are excluded.
- Projected rewards are a scenario and are not guaranteed.
