Network fees and units

Bitcoin mining profitability calculator

Compare entered mining revenue with power and pool costs.

Your inputs

Values stay in this page. Use the units shown beside each field.

Gross revenue before the pool fee. 1 PH/s equals 1000 TH/s. Enter your own scenario.
Optional. Blank means zero. Fees are entered as percentages.

Result

Enter your values, then calculate. You can also load the worked example.

Your result will appear here.

Compare gross mining revenue with electricity costs using your own hashprice and hardware figures. All amounts use one quote currency.

How the calculation works

Daily gross = TH/s ÷ 1000 × hashprice × uptime. Electricity = watts ÷ 1000 × 24 × electricity price × uptime. Net = gross × (1 - pool fee) - electricity. Simple payback = hardware cost ÷ positive daily net.

Worked example

Example: 100 TH/s at 50 per PH/s/day produces 5 gross per day. At 3,000 watts and 0.05 per kWh, electricity costs 3.60. A 2% pool fee leaves 1.30 operating profit per day.

How to use the result

Use gross hashprice before pool fees. Enter measured running power where possible. Uptime scales both revenue and running power in this model.

Simple payback divides the hardware cost by unchanged daily operating profit. When profit is zero or negative, there is no payback at those inputs.

What this result leaves out

  • Hashprice is user-entered; no hardware earnings or current network data is fetched.
  • Cooling, repairs, downtime power, taxes, financing and future difficulty or price changes are excluded.
