Check what remains from a single spot trade after the costs you enter. Use the same quote currency for the buy price, sale price and fixed costs.
How the calculation works
Cost = quantity × buy price × (1 + buy fee) + other costs. Proceeds = quantity × sell price × (1 - sell fee). Net profit = proceeds - cost. ROI = net profit ÷ cost.
Worked example
Example: two tokens bought at 100 and sold at 120, with a 1% fee on each side, cost 202 and return 237.60. Net profit is 35.60.
How to use the result
Enter the token amount actually bought and sold, then the two unit prices. Buy and sell fees apply to each side's trade value.
A positive net result means the entered proceeds cover the entered costs. A positive price change can still leave a loss when fees are high.
What this result leaves out
- One spot purchase and one full sale only. Partial sales, token-denominated fees, transfers and taxes need separate accounting.
- All values are scenarios you enter. This tool does not fetch a market price or recommend a trade.
