Translate an aggregate market-cap scenario into a unit price. Supply and valuation are inputs you choose, rather than predictions.
How the calculation works
Price at target market cap = target market cap ÷ circulating supply. Current market cap = entered current price × circulating supply.
Worked example
Example: a circulating supply of 10 million tokens and a target market cap of 50 million imply a price of 5. That is 150% above an entered comparison price of 2.
How to use the result
Use circulating supply for a circulating market-cap calculation. Maximum or total supply answers a different valuation question and should be identified separately.
Market cap is a valuation measure. A rise in market cap does not mean that exact amount of cash entered the market.
What this result leaves out
- The target is a hypothetical valuation and carries no probability or time estimate.
- No supply or current price is fetched. Token supply definitions and changes need separate verification.
